I dont even think there is any damage, I think lorrie's just trying to say that Dilz seems to be dodgy when it comes to selling cars, he sold a car to a guy who didnt look at it/check it out before he bought it and got stung with a lemon, a lemon sold by Dilz.

This car has rear damage, the rear bumper is rooted and I can't remember if the bootlid is damaged too. One of the rear taillights is cracked as well and I believe a door seal is rooted too. No compliance yet either and god knows what they'll pick for RWC. Compliance alone will be around $1250-1400 @ UPI where mine was done.

The world is filled with people like that, a person who agrees to buy a car without seeing it or getting it checked out, is asking for trouble!

Im not trying to stick up for Dilz in any way, its just that you shouldnt blame a guy for trying, if theres people out there who want to get ripped off, there will be people that will rip you off, simple as that.

I bought my car without seeing it, which I admit was a risky move, but if you build a level of trust with the person that your buying the car off, and you get a reputable workshop (in this case it was Jaustech) to give you their opinion on it, get it checked out with a full repot, you have someone to blame if something doesnt go your way. vr4-j didnt do this.

There were things that were not actually on the car I bought that it was advertised with (small 16g, front viscous LSD) but at the end of the day im happy with it.

The last thing I would do would be moan about it on a forum, thats not the place to sort it out, and as Dilz said in his defence is that theres 2 sides of the story, and if you dont know them both, you shouldnt really join the bandwagon in crucifying someone so quickly.

there's definitely auto vr4's. i think if just depends on how much of a bargain you're getting. i.e., it's a bit of a gamble getting an import, but it's generally a better decision financially

I had a look at it last night and there was only a few things I didnt like

1. running one 3 cylinders and slow reving ?
2. missing battery terminal
3. missing fog lights
4. 3x wirring looms in the boot?
5. Dash engine light was on
6. cigerette burn in the drivers seat

what I did like

1. black in color
2. 3"cat back exhaust
3. speedline rims
4. body was pretty straight (needs cut and polish+ rear quater and bar fixed)
5. 128,000kms
6. did have compliance approval paper
