stock vs stock - I'd agree with you however, if you had $15 - $20K to spend on a new car and looked through some of their forums, i'm sure you will be able to pick up a car with a fair bit of mods, newer than 89/90 model and with similar if not better performance.
Persoanally, being a VR4 owner, There is no way i would spend $15K on a 17/18 year old car. They are great cars for what they are and the only reason I bought mine was as you said "bang for buck" but then again mine only cost me a fraction of $15K..
You might of spent a fraction on a VR4, but it didnt come with a fresh paint job, rebuilt engine and a bunch of other mods?
Is yours a shitty A-spec? (no offence to A-spec drivers out there)
I rekon this car is worth every penny!
Sure, you could pick up a car that was newer, and faster, but is it all about performance?
Looks have something to do with it, and excuse me if i'm wrong- but thats one of the hottest VR4's in Australia.
So what if its old- it looks brand new!!!
