i like that "probably" still shit. yet we are talking about STM, one of the most renouned 4GToona's in unzed.

the car is a DRAG car, so it is desgined for a straight line, regardless they are obviously not shit.
 
i like how ppl jump on the bandwagon and start paying out a car cos its got x part.. like seriously if it was soo bad wouldnt it have failed by now? and as dre has pointed most of the stuff now adays is made in china! WHY? cos its cheaper!!!!! Even some of the well known brands outsource their manufacturing work.

im not bagging the car, im just bagging the suspension..

i have bc's in my car, and they are taiwan made.. not the best but i dont give a fuck.

if i think something is shit, then i'll say its shit. dont see what the big fuss is.
 
the "big fuss" as you put it, is that peoples opinions are fine, but when they actually reflect ignorance and miss information, thats not cool.

i think plenty of things are shit. a 14b is shit, so is a 16g, a GT35 is okay but a T51R is the business.

thinking what you like is a god given right, actually backing up why you think like that with reason and experience helps other people in the future make informed decisions.

not trying to just aim this at you p3akin, you obviously run a D2 style coilover setup, and have an experience, which you have shared, bit more detail why would be nice though :)
 
re: coilovers... cheaper ones tend to have stiff springs to take most of the loading, because they run crap shocks which couldn't handle it. The old G4 ones justjap sold were like this. The shocks kept failing people, even with the big spring rates, now they clearing them with no warranty.

Drag racing... stiff is good. Dunno how the BC ones go. Is mixed reviews. Seemingly they are a decent cheap option. As far as chinese made products go; again is mixed pending the industry. Some industries refuse to use chinese made components because of QC issues.
 
That GGSR used to belong to another guy in SA, ex forum member, Ben I think his name was. I'd buy that GGSR for a daily as long as the A/C works and cruise works!

thats even funnier! cause its not even a HJ, its a ec5a, the chassis code even says so!
