The EBay scams for cars taken overseas and then cant pass imports etc has been going on for years. Evo's , RX7's, you name it have come and gone with offers way too good to be true. What they do is make up some some story about not being able to take the car into their country and so the car is held at some shipping yard or whatever with no where to go except back to Australia. What they do in a roundabout sort of way is get you to provide your name, your address, phone number, and other details so they can make a fake ID with your details on it and then use your identity for a number of fraudulent activities. It's a SCAM, even if they quote EBay porotection policy as warnings have been around for ages, dont fall for it. I had some fun with one guy once telling him that the Australian Federal Police have been in contact with me and were currently investigating him and they need him to supply his full name and contact details so that they can confirm who he really is with the Australian Ambassador in France and funny enough - all communication ceased immediately hahahaha  I'm Croation, maybe I can write him a letter in the language and see if he can reply or understand it
