$19,000 ???????

Its a scam

OK Here is the reply I just got>>>

Hello,

Please forgive me for my late reply, but I was on a business trip and I just came home. This 2003 MITSUBISHI LANCER Evolution VIII GSR is a great car, never implied in any accident, in excellent condition. There are no signs of prior damage on this vehicle. My job put me on the way to Australia and I bought this car there. Now I have to sell it as I've got back home in Croatia. As you know I need a left hand drive vehicle here. Even if I transported the vehicle to Croatia, it is still registered in Australia . The final price is $ 19.000 dollars + shipping to your door. The estimated cost for door to door shipping to just about anywhere in the Australia will cost about $500 dollars. For an accurate shipping cost please include your shipping address in your next email.

All documents, including V5 log book on your name will be provided along with the car.

The transaction will be made under eBay's protection plan for our safety. Your funds will be 100% insured by Ebay who will hold your payment until you receive and test the car. You will have 15 days from the time you receive the vehicle to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name, address and eBay user id so I can initiate the deal through Ebay. I'm a serious man and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards.

Same reply I have gotten from various Ebayers where the car is overseas....

The EBay scams for cars taken overseas and then cant pass imports etc has been going on for years. Evo's , RX7's, you name it have come and gone with offers way too good to be true. What they do is make up some some story about not being able to take the car into their country and so the car is held at some shipping yard or whatever with no where to go except back to Australia. What they do in a roundabout sort of way is get you to provide your name, your address, phone number, and other details so they can make a fake ID with your details on it and then use your identity for a number of fraudulent activities. It's a SCAM, even if they quote EBay porotection policy as warnings have been around for ages, dont fall for it. I had some fun with one guy once telling him that the Australian Federal Police have been in contact with me and were currently investigating him and they need him to supply his full name and contact details so that they can confirm who he really is with the Australian Ambassador in France and funny enough - all communication ceased immediately hahahaha  I'm Croation, maybe I can write him a letter in the language and see if he can reply or understand it

bitches!! That's what too much typing on the keyboard does to you... everything ends in 'tion' and half the time I write the word 'account' it ends up being 'accunt'
