Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if you guys would be interested in something like this?

Do we have enough guys to support such an event?

I bring this up only due to the fact that the EVONATS are not open to VR4's due to the event being EVO orientated but allows GSR's and Libero's, which doesn't really make much sense to me.

So this would put an exclusion on Cordia's / Starion's / Cyborg's / Galant's / GTO's / FTO's / Proton's etc.

We have had good turnouts on drag days in the past in VIC anyway. Just a thought!

Let me know and I could make some calls.

Everybody will say yes, but then not turnup :( Our Drag days only go ahead as other makes (i.e. subaroo)\clubs are invited as well.

Its a good idea, but i think its safer for everyone to gatecrash a SAU or WRX track day (These clubs run them all the time)

if you want help organising i will help

what about if we made it mitsubishi nationals and open it up to everything mitsubishi powerd or mitsubishi make

i would be more then happy to make calls on behalf of team4g im also back in australia full time now and got my evo back :D

The question is, how many cars do we need and how many can we get to participate?

Our drag days on average get about 30 competitors.

Would this be sufficient?

Well that depends on where it is

if it is at say DECA then yes as you could run 2 events a motorkarhna and a hill climb event there with no problems

at hunated hills yes 30 would be good if you want lots of runs

at winton NO like less cars equal more track time but the cost vs people would be high

why dont you make Mitsubishi nationals simply have

lancers, mirage, colts, magnas, RVR, liberoz, galants, GTO even if it only 5 memebers from each make that still over 30 cars

let me know what u got in mind baz n hp-f may jump on board if we can get it pretty big.

I'm also in the process of speaking to a very good friend of the tooradin airport owner. They are Springy motors family friends.

I'm trying to suss out a possible skid pan day also for next year.
Go out and muck around with our cars in the wet?

It's time to have some fun with our cars....

Polo, I'll let you know how I go.
As for track preference, what options would we have for which states?

hey baz i would think winton would be good as its in btween nsw n vic as i think most of the cars would come down from there?

i know the tooradin airport owner personaly :p mates ex gf dad from what i remember he is not aloud to run any car events there he tried to get drag racing there but was told no and could not get any insruence to cover it

yeah but as above evonats is only for EVO not vr4 and so forth

How many people on here have done track days other then me?
