Melbourne is 7-8 hours. Obviously depending on your driving. It is a boring but easy drive, worst thing is roos at dusk and dawn.

what about winton? would only be a couple of hrs further for adel guys... 3 hrs for melb guys and about 6 for syd

in all honesty i think Adelaide sounds like the best place for it to be held.. cos they have a massive track with everything and afew good circuits.. while we in vic have few and far between.. and i couldnt imagine spending a weekend in benella/winton.. it would b an epic failure.. prob nothing to do out there...

if you are actually seriously wanting to plan something i'd be getting numbers of people that would be genuinely interested, and finding out where they are, and how far they are willing to travel. halve that number. that will give you a good starting point imo.

heaps from adelaide huh.......2407kms

perth to adelaide....2703kms and they are closest!
