EOI- T4G Annual Track Day?

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Drag days are difficult due to Heathcote not taking club events and only allowing test n tunes.

Calder is a possibility.

EVONATS are for EVO's only. I'd personally like to have a good mix of cars myself. Even something JAP orientated would be cool.

Im just hoping something does get organised and a time n date can be set so i can ball break dudes to get my car done b4 hand.

I want in , hill climb, track, that would be a sweet day :)

any of you guys intrested in some time trails / hill climb events? i might start organising a couple soon and get some prices inregards to race tracks around the area

aslo anyone willing to do a autocross? no jumps just grass/dirt events

You will normally need some type of membership to a car club for all competitors for insurance reasons 99% of E'Nats competitors have Cams L2S licences and most have done over 10 tracks days each.

I'm not sure on Melb tracks for EG. more than half E'Nat competitors are locals the rest travel from interstate.
Having an open event like this will be awesome for those that have been typing about it now they can start participating in track events.
Any track day hill climb event open to wider variety of mitsu should draw a reasonable field.

you can get your l2s license or AASA license i belive on the day of the event it will just cost a bit more

i will make some calls when i get back as all the tracks are open and i will search for some good hill climb tracks to

for the guys wonting to do club motor sport - first join a cams club !
you will find a list on -www.cams.com.au - search clubs - speed events
if its any help I am a member of ford four car club - www.ffcc.com.au membership is about $50 a year- the club is frendly and dont care what type of car you have
and they run quite a few events hillclimb/sprints/autocross/motokana

once you join a club get you class l2s ticket

then its easy just enter any sprint/hillclimb as most are multi club
you can easy work out team4g placings as these event are timed

as for hillclimb - haunted hills is tricky but a lot of fun
I like sandown - winton a lot but phillip island is just the best

by the way you could get a AASA ticket but the only bad thing there is that cams dont recognize AASA
so you cant run at cams events with a aasa ticket

how ever aasa will let you run with a cams ticket

by the way if you guys do run at a sprint or hillclimb I'll try to be in ( only with my slow old sigma )

i will make some calls tommorow at work and get some prices details in regards to events on weekends

Back to organising guys.

Is there even a event commitee?

if its any help there is a haunted hills event on the 8/3/09 run by hsccv/ffcc
now who could or would be interested
sup regs are no problem I get them sent to me anyway
but you need a L2S ticket
if you are interested this gives you plenty of time to join a club and get a licence
keep in mind once you are licenced all that needs to happen is to pick any sprint or hillclimb on the calender and enter
this leaves the organising club to do all the hard work

anyway as said there is a hillclimb at haunted hills that is easy to enter
