Evo6 owners

I have heard that the Evo 6 suffers from noise tappets and that they interior isn?t held together that well and raddles I was just wounding if there is any truth to these clams and other problems that occur with an E6

all mitsus suffer from noisy tappets......... not sure bout the rattling though. The E6 or prob E6.5 would be my pick for next car...... 3rd EVO version on the CE platform........

even so, coming from a rally background, i dont think many poeple that went out and bought an E6 when they came out would have cared if the thing was noisy or not

you don?t know where I can find the info on which models are CE and CC and so on just so I know

E5/6 - CE 4door shell

E7/8/9 - CH I think it is.

I had noisy tappets in my 6.5. right oil and noise went away - for now

Hi, well my tappets are NEVER noisy & the interior is perfect, not one rattle or problem & im damm fussy

The carpet in the rear is pretty crap in my 6.5 looks like some little triangular piece was just added on.Infront of seat right next to the door with a plastic piece on it.

tappets can also vary on how thin your oil is.

my tappets are quiet using 10-30 oil

i used 5-30 and u cld slightly hear it slightly.

my interior is perfect doesnt rattle unless i got my music up full bore.
