Information:
Engine 1.
Jap import. Apparently only done about 90,000kms but i used it for about a year and it slowly deteriorated. It runs quite well but one of the 'big end' bearings is making a wierd noise and it smokes like crazy upon acceleration. SUIT REBUILD

Engine 2.
Purchased in car that i wrecked. I was planning on using this engine in the future, but the engine i've got is doing just fine.
Reconditioned approx 2 years ago and had been sitting in the car doing nothing for a year until i pulled it out approx 3 months ago. Done only 30,000km's since rebuild. Runs perfectly

Is there much difference between a NA 4g63 and a turbo 4g63 bare motor? Are they essentially the same deal without a turbo. I'm looking to build a up a 4g63 for my next VR4 (which isn't to far away hopefully) and want a motor to start with.... The motor will be stripped back to a block, crank and oil pan.. Head will be redone too... So the short question is... would one of these NA motor be able to do this for me, or would I be better starting with a 4g63t..

Sorry for the post invasion... I'm just keen to get started on this and if a NA motor will be a good starting block, I would interested...
