With the current exodus of vr4 owners (VR4's will officially be 20 years old in 6 months time... the oldest of them), soon people will be offloading their e123's like crazy and the vr4's will become collectibles.

Wait another 5-6 months then buy in for a classic?

Wait another year or 18 months and pickup an e123 for rock bottom prices as everyone upgrades to the e6/7?

hahah coz the vr4 had no competition they started it all granted but evos are still better otherwise they'd still be racing vr4

Remember Jack rallied VR4's on the ARC for many yrs, regularly beating EVO?'s and WRX's (Factory backed teams) Yes he stepped into a EVO in the end, WHY? (sponsorship maybe?)

It certainly wasn't to better his placings!
He's done worse!

Don't be crazy.

He switched to an Evo because the VR4 was breaking on him too often.

He said the VR4 was much faster on the straights (when they used to drag from the lights between stages), but the Evo could carry much more speed through the corners.

But he's had a terrible year with engines etc. The Galant wasn't so unreliable

The VR4 broke stacks of drivetrain gear. The Evo did have more engine trouble but on the whole I'd say the VR4 was more unreliable.
