I've just bought a Forester XT so it's time for the Lancer to go.

The car has never been modified (apart from air filter), never boosted, lowered etc. It is in mechanically great condition as i've tended to replace things on my mechanics advice as the issues have cropped up, in the 4.5 years I have had it i've replaced the Lifters, Timing Belt, Water Pump, Tailshaft Bearing, Clutch Master and Slaves, and a new clutch was installed just before I purchased it. I had a major service performed at 160,000 and it just had an oil change at 166,000. Many of the k's it has done since I have owned it have been in the country, between the various ski resorts.

Just had $1200 spent on it to get roadworthy - New windscreen, rear struts, window switch and actuator/motor

Only issue I am aware of is the central locking actuators have failed apart from the drivers side. So, there is keyless entry for the drivers door, but the other doors are manual.

A few months ago my neighbour backed into it, so there is a little repaired damage to the front, and it is missing the front tow hook cover.

It has been a fantastic little car, very quick and agile in its current form, but also with great potential as it's apparently very responsive to modifications. So it's a perfect vehicle to start a project on, or just have fun in its current form as a cheap, quick little car.

Both the RWC mechanic and the detailer commented that it must be the cleanest, most original GSR in Melbourne!
