Gearbox info: W5M312VPXL

Hey guys,

can't seem to find much info on the box in question: w5m-31-2-VPXL

So far ive found this:

Basically it says the box is a Mitsu Chariot GT. Can anyone confirm that is correct?

Also, does this car (Chariot GT) have same same ratios as evo 1-2 or 3?

All of the W5M31s I've come across have been 2.846:1.

W5M31s are pretty weak internally all round anyway. No match for a 33

Edit: The old box out of my 'Rage is a W5M312VRXE. So yours is probably the same ratio, 2.846:1

This is the gearbox code on my Chariot GT.
W5M332MPZL

Do not forget that Chariots also came non-turbo charged but 4WD and have different ratio than my GT.

The ratio on my fire wall plate is 3.545

As for comparing the ratio to EVO 1-3, well I do not believe so. But others from here can correct me with that.
