Yeah I know what you're saying, but can you seriously believe them when they say its the last one in the country? Why wouldn't they want to get more?

Mitsubishi parts don't know the difference between their assholes and their mouths sometimes

how much was that one??

Well, yea, I would beleive them.

Unless someone else was importing genuine Mitsi parts? And just so happened to stock an insignificant sticker (insignificant to anyone else).

I'll ring them tomorrow and see if they have more, and if not, when they will be getting any in. And if ordering them is available.

You try do that in Australia too, to be honest I'd be surprised if they still were making them.

Put that sucka on!

You could try Chadstone Mitsubishi. We used to buy all our Mits parts from them at work, they do have all the import catalogues and such. I priced up some new parts through them when I first smashed my VR4. Prices are comparable to Mercedes, but they had a tonne of stuff still available.

If it is just a sticker you can get a signwriter to make one. A pdf or somthing will help, sure it aint genuine but it is just a sticker

It is a sticker.

And yes, it would be easy to recreate it in vinyl, but it would be totally different to a die cut and plate printed original on a printing press.

It would be easy to spot a copy from an original, as the original is one piece, 2 colour printed and copies would just be made of vinyl.

Does anyone else understand what I'm talking about?

Get a copy or three made up, put that on your car and keep the original safe in its original packet. I'm sure somone that does a good job could make a copy that is just like the original...

I work as technical support for a company that specialises in print.

And I can tell you, to get it copied exactly is not cheap.

2 films and plates will need to be made, one for the black text, one for the red. ($75 each plate)

1 die will need to be made, to cut the shape of the sticker. (Approx $300)

And then synthetic clear raw material to make the sticker.

To make 1 it will probably cost me around $600. To make 1000 it'll probably cost me $620, and 10,000 will cost me around $650.

And that is through the company I work for -expensive for small qtys, very cheap for large qtys.

Or I could get it copied in vinyl, $20 per sticker -only cheap doing small runs, but it will be totally different sticker.

Anyway. I'm not going to get it copied. Defies the whole point of exclusitivity.

man just put it on, like who cares if you preserve it in packaging, no ones gonna pay big bucks to get it off you one day

wear it proudly on the car

dont post any more chit chat unless it contains your post contains a pic of it already on the car
