Hi all,
I've been a member for a while but haven't got around to posting - so here goes.... I'm running a 94 GSR with a VR4 evo intercooler (slightly smaller than a 'proper' EVO2 cooler), a bit more boost (15PSI), modified/fabricated BOV (ie. doesn't leak !!), 2.5" CAT back exhaust with nice shiny BIG SS muffler (very important! - but doesn't "muffle" very well, not too surprisingly..), EVO brakes (bigger slotted rotors & twin spot calipers) and an EVO front fascia & rear spoiler. Oh yeah... & LENSO 17" RS5's (a recent addition). I've also got a nice MOMO wheel & some RECARO (copy) seats which finish off the illusion pretty nicely (well to me anyway!) .. I'll try to post a couple of pics soon. I'm considering the 'next step' and thinking it should probably be a down/dump pipe & bigger CAT - but would be interested to hear from anyone with similar mods to hear of their experiences..

I have a 3" magic cat for sale if your interested!

and seeing your already running an RS intercooler you could easily chuck on a TD0516G evo turbo, some 510cc injectors, biggger fuel pump and AFM to suit, and swap your GSR ECU for an EVO item.

would be a good step forward from your current setup.
 
I did look into an EVO turbo at one stage but decided that with all the work required that it'd probably make more sense just to go for a complete 4G63T EVO engine swap and do it all in one go! Since then I've calmed down a bit and thought about maybe just maximising 'what I've got' with the 4G93 - hence the bigger pipe then that's probably about it (until engine swap time!!) I just wanted to see whether anyone could give a rough estimate of how much power this one mod alone may liberate so I could justify the $$$ (or NOT)...
