gsr guards over the tyres

ok, well generally its ok but as soon as i have 1 or 2 passengers the tyre scrapes on the guards only when i go over rough roads. any quick fix ideas or should i get the guards rolled? she has 17'" rims on her and i dont wanna change em. 8)

guard rolling for sure...

there may be cheaper, but i paid $45 each side and bang never had a problem since.

also, the other thing to look for is the Rear bumper bars bolt... that might be sticking out and hitting the tyre... theres a thread on that here:

Wheel and tyre places i think is best. places that sell rims...etc.

Try this guy, I got my daily's rear guards done.... very neat job I must say...

he runs a mobile service, can come to you for a little extra... but if your over the northern subs any time at all you can go to his house and get it done... used and recommended by my local Bob Jane tyre dealer aswell as many of my friends so no need to worry about his work...

He charged me $120 for 2 guards for memory when I went to his house...

the rear quarters have been rolled :shock: and i never had any issues with it even with passengers!!!!!!

they have? maby i shoulda asked u first b 4 posting. anyway dad thought they haddnt been. n my passengers + driver are a lil hevier then ures. ill just have to put up with it.

it's just the bolt that scrubs on my baby... definetly try a screw or pop rivet... now if i can just put the motor back together i'll be able to worry about things like that

ok i checked it out and i think its the bolt, thank u 4 showing me that thread on the bolts, gunna put her in the garage tonight and get dad to show me how to use that pop rivit thingymagiggy!! lol harry said it has already been rolled, so im guessing its that bolt, and judging by the pics on that thread myne looked sooooo soooo similar if not the same!
