I need to lip the rear guards on The Coupe as my tyres are scrubbing after putting my EVO6 rims on.

I've left a message with Gavin from Low Down Guard Rolling and am going to hear back from him tomorrow, but I would like to know if anybody else can recommend other crowds so that I can get a few quotes and ensure I don't pay more than I have to.

got a pick of a guard roller? i have always wanted to make one....

The tyre factory in dandenong do it $75 a guard, dont know wat there work is like, my pannel beater rolled my guards for a slab of vb cans

tyre factory did my rear guards, now all the paint is chipping off em, luckily its only the bit the rolled inside so u cant really see. arent they suppossed to heat it up to stop this from happening? maybe they didnt heat it.

Only sometimes u get away with paint not cracking.

Most occassions there will be some sort of cracking of paint.

Well, the rear guards turned out quite good, he took his time and exercised alot of care when doing the job. Used a heat-gun on it at regular intervals to keep the paint soft before rolling.

Def recommend you consider giving Low Down Guard Rolling a call if you're looking to lip/roll your guards.

I think I still may have a scrubbing problem though as I can hear something that sounds like rubbing when driving the car. I'd shredded the top of the outer face of the rear tires driving it back from Shep when I did the 5-stud conversion, so I need to swap the mint front tires with the shredded back tires and see if the problem has actually gone away! I might have to tackle that farkin' rear bumper bar tab or something!?
