What tyres was it running? Read the article from Martin Donnon in the latest Zoom Magazine about what was necessary in order for the GT-R to surpass the Porsche 911 Turbo's time around the Nurburgring. I am not flaming the new GT-R as it's a fucken masterpiece for the price, but the Japanese spent countless hours of tyre testing and research (even had to pump them full of nitrogen) to make the GT-R seem a little bit better than what it really is. What I am saying is, if the Porsche 911 Turbo and similar machinery were to have similar rubber, I have no doubt that the results would be reversed....
I would still rather have 3 GT-R's (or one that's off it's tits!) to one Porsche however!
