it is tune tho... remember alex is running the same injectors only bigger then baz... and pete from rank couldnt tune them... the same thing has been happening to alex.... the 1000's were a shit of thing to tune...

same power yes but ur running 22psi compared to 16psi
6psi would prolly make a massive difference but its not worth hurting the engine over it

we shall see....

p.s my vr4 to destory both evo's =P

20psi on a manual boost controller (cant help spikes) ;).. im running evo 8 560cc injectors.. im going to tune my ecu in the next few days.. slap a new eeprom in it and get it redyno'd then race with Jamie (jetevo) in afew weeks.. your more then welcome to come out and race with us at calder :)

btw just for info kyp at atp told our mechanic that the turbo is best at over 20psi it screams

Yer its a big ass turbo.. huge wheels!!! at around 18-19psi it picks up huge.. seen kyps dyno graphs and i was going to get one of those turbos.. but i wanna see how fast my evo can go with a stock turbo..

1000cc are shocking.. dont need that big!! kyp only has like 600cc in his car... and it runs 11.x @ 125mph hence why i went for 560cc injectors, plus they are a 4 spray pattern.. far more superior then the 2 spray normal injectors.

What i want to know is what happened to all the VR4's???? there was plenty there but no one was racing????? I mean the day was for fun, yet not many wanted to have a go??? They are strong they can take it thats why we brought them!!!!!

Hey all. I had a very quick stay at heathcote, i had come from work and then had to go to work afterwards. Had a few runs as tim said before.

The MPH does seem a little high, but I just got the car back from dyno tuning. 197kw at the front wheel on 18psi. I was just blacktracking 1st and 2nd and then 3rd gear.... wooooooooooo!

Sorry I wasn't around longer. Was good to catch up with travis and barry and sorry to the all the people I missed out on meeting up with.

Time for LSD I think :lol: :lol:

I got there at 3 plus my car was loaded to the hilt with random crap. Dunno about the others.

Should do it easy with those sort of trap speeds once u get your traction sorted

Was yours the vr4 I passed in my white cordia while you were on the way to heathcote? Me and strudle were thinking it was a nice car.

Scott: Yeah it was Jone that did that awesome time. I also need stiffer springs in the rear because my car squats too much and the front wheels dont get enough weight pushing them down.

Would love just to get into the low 13's. We'll get there, slowly but surely.

we should have a dyno day next time then off to calder to see who has the quickest and most powerfull machine

my car should be ready for the next one I just need to learn how to drive

who owned the white evo with the black bonnet it was capable of a low 12 or high 11 just the launch was a bit ruff (to much wheel spin) what mods??

Black bonnet? Big TEAM4G Sticker in the windscreen... silver otherwise and driving like an idiot? That'd be me. Did you know there was an unmarked police car the next car behind you? :) Green VY Calais!
 
I don't want to be takin sides but i will vouch for Jon's 187kw as he had it dyno'd at RE Customs and ray the owner only does dyno runs in shootout mode! None of this playin with the figures crap just straight up dyno runs the same way as per Summernats do their runs.

That is massive MPH for the power man...

Any ideas how much your car weighs?
Did anyone else get MPH similar to that?

yes, Jeff with the FWD LANCER (evo 6 powered car)
he ran something like 13.9 @ 125mph..

insane...
not sure if its right though

Jeff last made 170kw's at the fronts with a stock exhaust, hes upgraded the exhaust already..

I've got vids matty...

REXNFX, not sure .. cant recall

the fast evo was LORDEVO's car i believe (white one without the wing and the ralliart sticker
 
REXNFX was there.. i think it was the black stock looking one? he was running low 12's the whole day..

the white gsr with a black bonnet and no wing was the quickest evo there.. he was aiming for low 12's but i think he could only pull a 12.6 .. it needs a massive tune though..
