unfortunately I was finally in the correct lane to film you late in the day and I made a meal of it and accidentally paused the camera as you took off...doh!

You didn't see my Lancer there, as the shitbox came to a halt coming back from Heathocte a few meets back, had to get it towed.

Ha! Gutted! I crunched 3rd on that run right as I went past you so maybe it was for the better? :p Maybe next time then!

I know what it's like getting a tow from out those ways- the transfer case on one of my old VR4's died on the way home one time- just outside of Heathcote. Made me miss my best mate's 30th dinner!!!

Front tyres are 205x60 'Dark Horse' brand with 15psi in them. Says it all really haha

The rear is actually quite high which is making it squat harder on the launch and getting the front tyres to lift up creating some wheel spin. It has near new KYB Excel G's and King springs all round. Best was a 1.92 60ft which is way off the 1.83 that my old 'DIE STI' VR4 did back when it ran a 12.03@113. The car does need the bushes replaced throughout- lucky I have a complete set lying around! Hopefully that, some lower (and maybe stiffer) springs in the rear along with some decent tyres will help me get a better start and a lower E.T

I was almost on the limiter in 4th at the trap so I might have to consider ditching the 2.86 ratios for 3.545 when the Exedy Organic clutch gives up the ghost

Ahhh really! That's why you can take passengers too?

I wish the tree was different- being able to stage and sit there for 1 minute without leaving after the green drops kinds takes half the skill out of racing

Yes, they allow passenger rides and just enforce that you run a solo pass (no car in the other lane).

It's a test and tune though, its not racing. If you run at one of their events, then yes, you'll have qualifying and racing, so you cant hang about building boost like you see in that video.

Nice time Dre, atleast you got a baseline time now to work with. Can't wait for the mods.
^Is 1.9 60ft the norm at heathcote?
Curious as I was pulling 1.6 60's at Calder with street tyres.

1.6 60ft is pretty crazy! I would be happy with a low 1.8

^Awesome. Well, I've never raced at Heathcote and I'm sure it'll be completely different to Calder.
Once I get new tyres for my other rims, I'll be keen to run.

got my 15s...
Sussing out tyres now.

225/50/15 maybe?

Dialling in cams this week. I got the solid lifter from George in WA.

then tune time!
