HELP PLEASE!!!!

I received a letter form VIC Roads yesterday stating that i need to give them my car for a day. The reason stated was that it is a "REGISTRATION DISCREPTINCE" but the letter goes on to say how if the car isn't up to certain standards i will haev to bring it back with any alterations done. What should i think of this??? has someone just dobbed me in or do you think that have a genuine interest in the numbers on the car???

my car had it done just before i bought it.

if you dont comply some cars get scrapped.

my car had to be returned to stock and get everything checked over.

but once you get it done you get a certificate which shows your car is legal and complies.

great asset to have

especially if you have a rebirthed vehicle.

man vic roads sound strict / pain in the ass :shock:

id be ultra paranoid and id even put a temporary quiet std muffler on it and compliant wheel size as well..

do it once, do it right and you wont have to return to them a second time

yep basically everything has to goto stock maybe not rims.

but even exhaust i'd recommend going back to stock.

everything got taken out of my car...anything aftermarket was taken out including window tints (was 15%)

vic roads has its pros and cons for example here in vic we dont have to do an rwc each year only when we go to sell the car.

surely vic roads can understand that parts need to be replaced on a 10/15 year old car...

They understand alright.

They also figure the world replaced means just that. Not upgraded.
