Help!!!

calling all and few EVO 1 owners, i need help finding some form of suspension any will do for my 94 Evo 1 RS. koni, bilstein, kyb, pedders, even bloody Ralliart, all the above mentioned dont make it for that model. im looking for links to japanese websites such as HKS etc, any help plz?

Surely it cant be that hard to get suspension for a CD9a?? These cars were produced locally, so there shouldnt be a problem trying to hunt down suspension! If you get lost when you say EVO 1, try saying CC GSR?

the cc GSR are different apparently, none of the brands i mentioned in my opening post make anything for the 2L..

lol.... how you cant find suspension is beyond me.

HOTBITS and D2 coilovers are readily available in Australia for under 2k. Both of which are available for the EVO and CC GSR.

Your EVO 1, would be identical to CC GSR suspension anyway.

Further more, I've been able to find brands such as HKS, JIC and TEIN all available with no more than a 2 week wait for delivery.

Your car might be an import, but being an evo one, its the same as a lancer gsr.

I also find it hard to imagine you have a 94 model evo 1???
They were only made from 92-93, so yeah beats me whats goin on there. Prob same as half the "GENUINE EVO 3's" that i see advertised, yet they are build dates of pre 95.

EVO 1's were stopped being produced in 1993. EVO II's are 1994.

I meant that CC GSR's were produced locally, and they have the same ssetup in them as your car. If you try asking for CC GSR instead (which your car probably is anyway) of EVO 1, you might get some better answers. Yes they are exactly the same suspension setups, who ever is giving you your info doesn't know what they're on about mate!

I'm pretty sure all of the brands you mentioned do have listings for CD9a's!

Is your car even a CD9a or is it a CD5a? Being an 'EVO 1' and 1994 i'm guessing its CD5a? (GSR)

nah its definatly a CD9a 00004996, ( E CD9A SNDF ) to be exact, and from memory which my info is back in townsville, the SNDF represents it being of the RS model.. as for the 94 part im only going by previous registrations..as for all those other brands, they dont have a listing for the CD9A...
