How to not break a centre diff!

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

It was sounding good.. engine is spot on this time.

I'll let you know Rob.

Tim, it broke going into boost, as the load was just increasing. He quickly backed off and shut down the motor. He thought it was the transfer case or tail shaft initially. I'm thinking, 3rd gear runs on the dyno now. No more 4th gear runs

Well I just got back from a short test drive ( some moron forgot to put the radiator cap on tightly and it blew off :( , no damage though as I caught it in time due to the steam coming out of the vents! )
It does skip the inside tyres just a little bit on full lock turns. If I run a little bit wider it doesn't do it at all. Other than that the car doesn't feel any different to drive than when it had an open centre diff.
I did get the chance to give it a quick full throttle run in second but I backed off when it started to lose traction  This thing is going to be fun once I get it back to the strip!
Mick and Mitch better hurry up and get their cars ready soon so we can make a night of it out there!

sounds great tim...glad its finally running again  yeah final legs tonight to get it ready for tune next week
