Help Support 4GTuner:

good work man, let us know what clutch you end up going for, i have the same delma, i will have an awd with mild mods but want good clutch for drags and track but it still daiy driven.

only pity is SA doesnt have a working drag strip at the moment!! sux.

i wouldnt go 5 puk as of last year i went thru 4 of them !!!! 10000k's and all for of them gave way !!! best thing to do is bite the bullet as you said you want it for track/hard launches . also the use a decent flywheel (i know you already know that but no one has said it) for your clutch im gonna have to go with a 3 puk.

exedy flywheel?

or something like fidanza or ACT from the US?

if your going to use a Exedy clutch might as well go for a Exedy flywheel to macth your clutch combo as these cltuches have been tested with the flywheel. but if you want to use a Fizdanza its up to you . it really comes down to what you fancy . ive got a exedy organic and im running a evo 6.5 flywheel as they are thicker . and i went with a organic wheel as they as more easy to drive on the streets its taking over 15 launches at 7000rpm and it still holds up fine heaps of bite left in it .

ive got an exedy sports organic in mine. it's lasted me about 45k's now and still going strong (i got it off monte carlo arthur)...daily driven....unless i drive like a granny

im pretty jamie has the same in his car aswell?

...only thing is mine shutters bad....but i think its because my output shaft is worn out :?

Either a) You can't drive or b) you ride the clutch constantly.

Most likely both.

Don't take offense, but NOBODY burns a clutch every 2500 km's and it isn't their fault.

.....mate its not that i cant drive its cause someone didnt install it right. didnt use high tensol bolts he used self guiding bolts so there for the flywheel wasnt even on tight

I have an exedy Sports organic clutch and pressure plate in mine (stock flywheel, due to not being able to get the fidanza in time) driven 2,500 ish on it and it's still going really strong, grips like banshee, you can slip the launches abit, but overall it's a nice clutch, I've got 15psi running and it's holding it well, not sure what it'll be like when the mods start :? but if it can't handle more power I think I'll go with the 3 puk as it's pretty proven.

If you want to take it for a drive let me know.
