So I've noticed ever since the head rebuild that the idle will occasionally increase.

Starting the car up will sometimes require 2 turn overs, and it will sit an idle at 850ish rpm. If I am to drive it, every now and then I will notice on idle that it will be well up into the 1500rpm range. it may go back down, it may not.

I've recently done a service on it, including a set of iridium sparkies, everything done, minus the spark leads which are a bit trickier to source.
Just wondering if this is a TPS, ISC, temp sensors problem... not sure which one...

Any insight appreciated.

Oh, it doesnt nesesarily have to be after boosting it, I've driven it to or from like a baby off boost and same result..

Sorry people, for whatever reason, it will not let me break this thing into paragraphs, just bunches the words into one long sprawl every time...

there's a single wire with plug that connects to the power steer pump. see if that is plugged in.
I was told it detect fluid flow to indicate steering which then send signal to rise the rev.

interestingly, my rvr does this as well.

i was planning on looking into it this weekend. I have a feeling it will probably be ISC related as i noticed i dont get any "idle up" when the A/C switches on or when i turn the steering wheel while stationary.
