My vr4 was insured through some random insurer that doesn't do direct-to-public quotes. I can't even remmeber the companies name, it was a year or so ago.

My Landcruiser is insured through t-something, agreed value 28k, full offroad cover, full recovery cover. if i total it off a cliff in the alpine ranges they pay for it to be pulled out of the national park etc.

Brokers rule.

haha.. when i got my vr4 insured i rang up asking for 3rd party/fire/theft... was quoted around 400 i think it was... she said do you want me to check comprahencive as well... i said might as well... in came back around $15 cheaper... she had no explanation but to say these things happen sometimes...

i get a extreamly good deal with insurance... on the farm pack we have... although we spend around 12k a year thru em so i'm sure they want to keep us on the books
