Hey guys n girls!

Its come the time for me to start looking for a new cooler - mine is too long, and the inlet/outlet are at the back of the end tanks which is going to make the pipe work a fair ******* to make. You will know what I mean if you stick your head under my car!

I've got a few options:

an Evo VI core (or later)

or a PWR Aero 2 core

So far, I'm having a bit of trouble finding an Evo VI one, found one on nzmmc.co.nz for NZ$300 but that's about it.
The PWR ones look pretty shmick, they're brand new, come with warranty, and they're not that expensive.
a 300x300x73 is $335, or a 400x300x73 is $395, or a 500x300x73 is $485.

My question is, I don't want/need anything larger than a Evo VI core, so how big are they? And does anyone know where to find an Evo VI or later model core and rough prices?

Thanks in advance :)

Matty, I have an E6 cooler on my VR', and there was ALOT of ******* around to make it fit because they are too tall (290mm). Most of the cooler doesnt get any flow, so i'd suggest getting something shorter but longer.......

Perhaps something alont these lines.......

FYI: E6 cooler measurements are: 470x290x70mm

Thanks for that Dre! :)
Is that the dimensions including the end tanks or just the core?
The cooler I have now is long and short, but its a bit too long unfortunately! The only reason it works is because its using the standard flexible piping which is kind of bend and kinked around the chassis. very dodgy!

Thats the core. Sounds very dodgy indeed!!!

What about an EVO 1-3 cooler? they're not bad- perfectly suited to a big 16g too

for an aus spec
u can fit a 600 L x 200 H x whatever thickness you want quite nicely

if u want back to back endtanks like what u have, you will probably only fit a 400 - 500 width

just go for one of those 600x300x75 coolers, re-make your piping and your set

the cooler will probably need to be slightly offset to the drivers side of the car in order to get the pipe to fit through that tight gap..

any idea what sort of power they capable of handling?
all going well i want to be making 200wkw.
do all the evo coolers have 2.5 inch inlet/outlet?
