My salary gets paid into my homeloan every fortnight (can't do anything about reducing it to weekly) and sits in redraw against the loan. I live on my credit card to keep the $$$ in my account for as long as possible then pay it off when it's due.
I actually built up over 103,000 credit bonus points which I never got around to redeeming for free crap (cheap toaster, wine, stereo, trips etc - you know the stuff they "give away") and then due to a special offer was able to redeem them for $638 credit to my visa account!!
