RVRs are a bit weird! Regards timing sensors i.e. cam angle, crank angle etc.
There are at least 3 variations to cam and crank sensors that I have come across
1. I had an SG that had the evo 3 style CAS (cam angle) at rear of the head only, no crank sensor at all
2. I have an engine from an SSG that had both cam and crank sensors, both at the front of the engine. This is the type you'll have on yours. (There will be 2 plugs at the front of the engine intake manifold side at about the same level as the top part of the timing cover)
3. On my HSG I have a non adjustable CAS at the rear of head, and a sensor on the crank at the front of the engine
Tentative 4. On Ian's HSG there is the same CAS rear of head, but neither of us can recall a crank sensor at the front, I will be able to confirm exactly by the weekend.
