Is this a trick, Virus, trojan or something bad.

I would like to know if team4g has a co forum, or a friend forum of some sort, these are thye pm's i have recieved, i am not sure if these are fake or real, and what ever it is could this be a virus or something.

I have never heard of such a forum.

I am unsure if this is a legit website or not, to me i belive its bogus, i havent included the username of this person to give notice to team4g of such behavoior and intentions, incase its really a true website.

He says my username is teh same on that site as is on team4g, like that sounds like nonsense. There is no way there is a cordia forum called cordia.spudnik, Never heard of it, unless its in Russia.

I'd like to make a strong suggestion that you change your password and never enter it into a website other than Team4g..

You know how people get those emails suppodedly from their bank saying "verify your details", and then they enter their details, and they get sent to a "hacker"?

Thats basically what happened to you, except it was a PM rather than an email, and it was your Team4g login rather than your bank details.

FWIW, I would never change your signature or anything (unless it was offensive or oversized). I believe that the rest of the admin staff take the same approach. No matter how much you are disliked on this board (I'm not saying I dislike you, I have stayed out of it :lol: ), we'll still make sure you're being treated fairly.

Or something like that...

Yes thats him, like what good would they have with my username and password, like if they did get it, i bet they would full on creat havoc and say very nasty things, and people would think its me, But i guess i could just sign up again and post up that Im the real KIngcordia.

I put 10 and 10 together. One of the other mods picked up on that username as the only one that joined at the same time with "cordia" in it. Checked the email address which gave some clues. Ran a whois on the domain, basically confirmed it. Looked at the forum to see what another user's username was.

It's all pretty obvious, but I'm not getting involved. They haven't technically done anything wrong by the board. All they did was login with your details, which is your responsibility.

I take it you have changed your password by now?
