Has anyone tried the knock LED mod listed on VFAQ?
Would this be a good indication of when the knock sensor is telling the ECU that detonation is occurring?
What I'm saying is - Is the factory boost control solenoid (bleed type) shut, to control boost level for anything else other than knock?
Surely there are other times when the ECU shuts the BCS in attempt to cut down the boost level??
Or is the LED mod a pretty good indicator of when knock ONLY is detected (whether or not it be phantom or real)?
