Lift Kits for a RVR?

Is there such a thing?


Would it be best to get some coilovers and just wind them up?


Or perhaps just an air bag suspension kit would be okay, can you get heaps high ground clearance with them pumped up?


RVR's use the same front strut tops hats as a early evo correct?

Lift Kits, probably would be a custom job, I'm sure 4WD Shops could point you the way to go...

as for coilovers, After a discussion yesterday, a few mates think that E3 Coilovers may allow for fitting, when fully wound up, allowing for a Low look, when at full extension. We're going to hopefully check it out and see if it will work, as it's going to be a cheaper way of doing it than going for the more expensive option of custom making them.

With my tyres and offset I get scrub on the rear shocks when going offroad.
Coilovers definitely would not work for me in the rear.

Having said that you can buy 30mm taller coil springs to fit to the rvr

The rear can't have Coilovers, have a look under the back and you will see why, unless you did some serious modifications.

As for springs, I've found a set to bring me 35-45mm off the bump stops. $190 for all 4.

Has been done (in japan) all you need to do is make spacers to go in between the spring and the body for the rear and for the front a spacer to go in between the top of the shock and the body.

In saying that it's all custom work..

where would one purchase a set of these 30mm taller than stock springs?

i highly doubt they have even heard of a RVR. more likely they would laugh me out the shop for asking :lol:

i can not find any reference on the internet to taller springs, all that comes up is threads from here and evocrew.

looked in kings springs catalogue, pedders and lovells to no aval.

im thinking some GC's would work for the rear, though i dont know how much i would trust them.

who cares if they laugh at you for asking something like that. its a strange car to get parts for and you would be surprised what kind of 4x4 shocks and springs would fit in different cars maybe something from a small 4x4 would work its worth a try

so i went to 4x4 shop, and even the Perth 4x4 trade show and all the responses i got were to use spacers, not that they even really gave a shit about some obscure wanna be 4x4 car.
