I dont think he's flaming anyone- its the truth??

so its ok.. just to quote someone and edit what they said so that you can have a go at a certain workshop?

theres not going to be 100% happy customers at everyshop and thats known fact! ie look at HPF they are known for big hp cars. .but obviously you werent happy with them.

in all honesty ive seen the time effort and parts put into this certain car and i really think that it wasnt a warranty job (my opinion) for that fact that the owner was advised of certain things and also for the fact that drivetrain parts that have come off the car wouldnt be something you'd describe as 'running' in a new motor. The workshop was kind enuff to give a 12 month warranty and EXTEND it beyond what they would normally class as 'warranty job'.

the car was finished 2 days prior to the owner picking it up and obviously it was tested and taken for a drive and also left to idle in the carpark to check on oil pressure etc.. this isnt the first time its lost oil pressure (first was due to turbo seal leak) so you have to wonder.. WTF is giong on.. the previous owner never had any troubles with this car even after the rebuilt..

either way its time to move on and sort this out... im sure you know your options and what you can do... its a pitty your motor wasnt built right the first time when Manny owned it.. instead of getting forged pistons aswell he skimped on it.. and obviously they cracked when you raced it at the drag day.... so i guess thats another lesson learnt.. do it right the first time!

good luck with whatever way you chose as its got most of the 'gear' there to be a pretty quick street car.

Jon

i hope you do know that clutch has been on that car since manny has owned it.. you make it sound like i just got it put in and gave it a thrashing..

Yawn.

Gone far enough.

I'm not taking sides here, I'm just not going to watch another perfectly good tech thread denegrate into x vs y (with a, b and c chiming in).

Take it to off topic.
