hey guys,

can anyone recommend a place to buy a low height hydraulic jack? ive had a look around my normal auto stores (repco, supercheap, etc) and they dont seem to carry any of those really low jacks. kind of like the snap on ones.

cheers :)

Super Cheap just got in a new range of trolley jacks, they're lower than the 2500kg "standard height" one that you probably saw.
I can't remember the exact price at the moment, But pm me and I'll get back to you. What's your local store? I can see if they have it in stock.

Autobarn usually have them, or the best place to get that kinda thing is at like a bearing shop etc. they seem to have that kinda stuff

i have a few shops near my joint..supercheap, autobarn, repco, bursons, auto one, pretty much all your usual auto shops :)

Yep maximum height is 370mm, that is rubbish, be lucky if you could axle stands under there.

I got a repco 2 tonne recently min is 140 and it goes under my car easy. Lifts to 550. It was $99.

Naaaa, minimum at 140mm (14cm fully lowered) cant be right? whats the correct minimum height as the lower the better. The 550mm maximum is the goods though :D .

140mm (14cm) minimum height is still too high as I know that I wouldnt be able to get a 14cm high jack under the front bar or sideskirts of my car to try to jack it up. The 8.9cm minimum height jack will make it under though but unfortunately all flat style jacks are $200+. I cant even get my current hydraulic jack under my mrs car with E3 kit on it and it just has Kings lowered springs and 17" wheels. Have a look at her car (yes, she is to blame for it lol)

Good stuff, see if they have something in the range of under 100mm minimum height :)

i can fit a jack under my car and my car is pretty low.. i just can't jack it up from the sides, but i can jack it up from the front and back quite easily..

how low do you e3 lips sit? surely can't that big of a difference?
