Very, very regretful sale as the car is awesome fun to drive, especially unrestricted. Not getting as much use as it should.

Registered on SA dedicated rally rego.
Large spares package includes 34mm restrictor and relevant tune, lots of doors, bonnet, bootlid & wing, side skirts, intercoolers, radiator, arms, brake pads, hubs, turbo, sump guard (slightly damaged),and heaps more.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Tempting (Big Drool!!!!)

I can see a possible Tarmac Rally car :)

yeah It would make a great tarmac car, it only weighs 1280kg even with the very comprehensive cage. With just some tarmac spec springs and on E85 or even just on 98 with no restrictor it would make a pretty fast, fun little car, it would be easy to run some Evo Brembo's as it doesnt have/need a cable handbrake.

We did one tarmac rally in it as a round of the SA rally championship in 2009. It was the first event after the car was finished. We finished 13th after loosing 2 minutes on the first stage from popping off an intercooler hose (i forgot to do the clamp up), then set top 5 stage times for the rest of the event. That was just with a basic setup on the car, stock ECU the gravel struts wound down a few cm and some silverstone FTZ semi's.

Well at the time I didnt have much to compare them too, but they were not to bad. Close to the limit they did have a bit of lateral slide, which did give good turn in, this may have had a bit to do with the gravel springrates and diff setup, but still not a trace of understeer. Still from talking to others somthing like the Hankook's etc are another step foward again.

I think that the guy at silverstone who developed there motorsport tyres has actually left and went to Federal, so im not sure if the FTZ are still like the used to be, or even availible anymore?

Price drop and big sad face :(

unfortunatly it may need to go to fund some house projects etc... plus not getting the use it should.

Pretty firm on price as im not going to give it away... just the gearbox and MCA are pretty much worth the asking price... still if your interested get in touch..

daaaaamn!! sorry to hear you have to sell mate!

If only I had the OK from the minister of finance to purchase the car I want to rally :(

this car is chock full of knowledge and quality parts. jump on it guys!
