when i take off, i hear a squeeking/squealing noise, but if i take off real slowly i don't hear it. it doesn't last long, only hear it for like half a second. it's started to make the same noise when i shift to 2nd.
sound seems to come from the front of the car. something to do with wheels? or driveline?

Release bearing in your clutch

I'd go with that as well, Mine does it also.

or it may be just the slave cylinder where it contacts the clutch fork is dry, a bit of copper antiseize here would be good to stop squeaks.

lefty. *check your clutch pedal box, seems you may have split some of the pedal box assembly.

I know the sound you're talking about. after some driving it gets softer and softer and goes away, right?
