Hey guys, just another noobie swinging past to introduce myself.

Looking forward to hunting through the RVR section of the forums, as i own a HSG myself, have done for about a year now and loving every minute of it!

If i can contribute anything, i'll be wrapped to pass on the knowledge, and i'm sure i'll learn a thing or two about these great cars along the way.

Cheers, SW

Thanks guys, yes the HSG does have a uniquely tough appearance! Not to mention, almost nobody (that isn't in the know) has any idea wtf it is lol!!
Massive bonus in my eyes

Will throw some pics up asap.

Pretty stock atm dude, just 3" exhaust with metalcat, and pod filter. Pretty dam quick on the street as it is, but going to get a stainless intake, bit more boost, and a chip/tune soonish....i'd love around 170-180awkw , and that's the path to it from what i see around the forums!

Pics up tonight..... :)

pics.....

on evo 5 rims and r32 gtr's. Currently running evo, but may go back to r32 soon

Thanks dude, yeah quality rim the the OZ racing...just wish they were an inch wider!

Manual....no other way for me sir ;-)

Nice one!

Any plans on lowering it? My old RVR had RSR springs and it handled sooo much better then stock!

I did have plans, untill i realised how hard (not to mention expensive) it is to find rvr suspension..... Where did you source the RSR springs from, and have you got a pic your old ride with the springs in??

Hard to find? Pffft! That's what this forum is for, helping you get the parts you need and want!

It's easy to get KYB Struts and RSR Springs. Problem solved ;)

Matt....you are a champ!

So where can i source these components for a reasonable price, i'd like to sort the suspension out in the next few months.

KYB can be sourced from a pedders.

Suspension

KYB Front Strut: 335034
KYB Rear Strut: 343384

As for springs... you can get on yahoo japan auctions and type "n23w" as a search term, and find an array of nice gear. I find a nice set of Pink RSR springs a while back... ;)

$180 shipped in japan for front and rear... and they were super lows...
I'll have to talk to my mate in Osaka and see if he can send me a set soon.

Edit: also, keep in mind that your bushes and bump stops are worth changing at the same time... I suggest a full suspension/steering overhaul if you see signs of wear-n-tear. Lets face it, these aren't new cars...

I shall refer back to this info with great confidence as soon as i get the $$ for suspension Matt.
Cheers for the accurate info dude!!

harder if you want to go stock height, but I've found Mitsu JP still make parts for the RVR N23W

So I'm having factory front coils sent over next month.
Not going into cost, but I'm 100% confident that they are what I want atleast.

Will send my old set to have remade so they can be sourced in Oz through a company.
