Evoscan works fine. You need 1.3U cable.

As for bluetooth obd reader, i have one from ebay and i have torque pro on my samsung and it works too. I tested it on my evo 7, ford fiesta and nissan pathfinder and it works on them all.
Isnt the 1.3u cable the reflash cable? So if you only datalog then maybe you could have a 1.3r?
They are the same cable but no ecuflash license so cheaper.
I dunno if your ecu will reflash...

Rvr ecu will not reflash unless you upgrade to latest evo ecu. I just said 1.3U because i have it. Didn't think about what you said but yes, you could use 1.3r too.

Evo scan is very good to log if you're tuning your car.

I have tried everything to get this bluetooth reader to connect but it will not talk to the ecu, I have it connected but no information coming from the ecu...
I will go down the evoscan route then.
Thanks VR401
Evoscan is a lot better choice mate. Bluetooth is slow to work with and not even close to what evoscan can do.
Once you get it i'll show you how to log and view logs in Microsoft excel. You'll love it.

Thanks vr401 your help will be much appreciated, I'll order it this week I need to log what is happening with the car as it has a mystery cut when turning right pushing hard. Be good to see what is happening.
