I have been using Amayama for a while now, however they just messaged me to say they can't source me a single part for at least 4 weeks :fuuuuu:

Does anyone have a good/reliable/cheap OEM parts supplier? I tried Partsouq but the prices were about 10-15% more expensive than Amayama and the shipping price is more than double.

Has anyone used Al Habtoor Motors in the UAE?

G'day Dre.
The bearings you should be able to source them from a reasonably big bearing shop. O rings are a piece of piss. https://www.ludowiciseals.com.au/ if you know the dimensions. I can give you the size of the dipstick seal if you need. Copper washers you can get from say Autobarn in a bag. Some engineering shops will also sell them. Sump bolt-ebay, I bought a magnetic one, came with an aluminium washer.
Are you in the DSM tuners forum in the US. There are heaps of companies in the US that could supply some of that stuff.
Cheers

Hey Ross, thanks for taking the time to reply- I wanted to get new filler and drain bolts for the diff, transfer case and gearbox. As for the dip stick I would rather just get the OEM stuff so I know it's a genuine fit- I have had a dip stick pop on me at the drags and it wasn't pretty. I don't mind paying a little extra if it means it all arrives in 1 box instead of having to chase down different suppliers here in Aus... i'm fairly time constrained these days unfortunately!

As for SIVART- I know he could probably source all the stuff I need, however just like almost everything else to do with our cars, it's a damn sight cheaper sourcing them from overseas.

I might try Al Habtoor Motors- I believe they are the ones who supply Amayama with their parts out of the UAE anyway. They seem to be a fair bit cheaper than retailers in the U.S.A too. Plus the shipping from the U.S is highway robbery these days!!!!

Late to the party, sorry.

Never used them for parts, but I do use http://www.megazip.net/ for parts diagrams and working out what's what.

Seem to be a little more expensive than Amayama, who I have used and do a good job at it.

Local sources, when possible, are usually better, cheaper and faster and I hope you've got it all sorted out already.

Why I know about these two, and have used Amayama for a car that was built less than an hour's drive from where I live is a long story...

(I don't get to use local OEM sources because I'm one of the unwashed masses, and that also means I don't get to be able to look up parts or part equivalents either. All the OEM equivalent catalogs are password protected and I can't get a password. Hoping I don't also have to look up parts for the other car. It was built a 3 hour drive away, so it's not like I'm not supporting my neighbour who's giving me a great big "^%$^% you" because I want to fix my own vehicle.)

Stu.
