Love the FTO

Meanwhile, they'res a guy on Sigma-galant with a similar car, even paint color, but has the 4G32 dohc motor in it.
Very nice!

Very productive there Dan!
But yes very nice examples you have posted up there!
I see alot of close resemblance to RA22-23 celica's & RX3 coupes. Didn't really notice that before.
Definately would make a great project car...

They were called GTO galants.the body shells were different to the 2 door galants. They were built around 1973 to 1976 GC to GD series .i knew 1 guy with one on southside brisbane,The dash was different to a normal galant as well.it was a bit like a lb/lc lancer hatch dash.in australia we got the the 4g32 with twin carbies, but extremly rare.overseas they even made a twin cam 2lt

galant gto

heres some writeups i think that they even went back to 1971

there is a turbo Gto thats red that I used to see nearly every day on the way to work,
schmick as too. do want

there are a decent amount of GTO's in aus... no one brings them out due to how rare they are.. but i have seen a few in Melb on classic car outings, they look really really bland stock though..

Sweet find. I love the old school galants. This a couple pics of my first galant. It was a GA ( GB front light & grill ) . I finished the build in 1999.

I had a couple sets of wheels on it.

It was a cross breed as it had a Toyota 4AGE 20 valve in it. it was so fun to drive, loved to rev ,8500 rev limit & sounded unreal (thanks quad throttle bodies, ram tubes & socks filters. )

I have a customer at work & she has 2 GTO's.
