technically there shouldn't be a 30% excise on petrol, the gst was meant to replace all taxes and excises, so instead of paying 30% + an extra 10% on top of that it should just be 10% tax, bloody government thats what i say

Just like all things government and bank wise, It was a piece of piss to add a surcharge on the price of petrol but its so very, very hard and arduous to remove one.... pffft

I heard on the radio today that a BP spokesperson said petrol prices are expected to drop.
