look around for an efi coupe or sedan as they are a much much better platform to begin with

It more so depends on the car its self, like i can spend $500 and have a replacement gearbox and mine back on the road. The 4 door was going to be brought for $750 and figured $250 on a car i like the look of more with the gearbox included....

I dont want to be putting heaps of money in to it for paint and other parts, as im already working on a celica doing all that, so this was more of a whatever is out there and at the right price thing. then slowly work on it from that.

so you coupe needs a gear box? if so make me an offer and shoot me your address via pm so i can factor in postage. i have a gl sitting here with a good box that's about to get shipped off to a wrecker if your offers reasonable and your happy with my quote for postage it's yours
