Haha.. In ten minutes transport SA opens and I am going to go and get a permit to drive my car... gotta bring it back home, stuff the loom back under the dash, plug the exhaust up and then...

take it back to regency!!!

Man I hope it passes..... if it doesn't pass I don't know what I'm going to do.. everyone pray to the gods of octane that it passes.... and I get to drive my wondrous beast on public roads!

Pfftt. mechanic couldn't work out how to make the printer work to print out the emissions results, plus the car ran out of petrol while we were doing the test, result: didn't get the car home until 1, and couldn't finish shoving all the wiring loom back under the dash in time.

New, and FINAL TIME (haha the car is inches away from readiness) is next tuesday 8:20am. The gods of octane certainly didn't smile one me today, the guy pulled the air temp sensor bung out of the throttle body elbow, so there is now a hole.. no boost today! Haha it was sad, I could hear the air rushing out and the boost gauge sat on zero.. I was thinking, all that air is my poweerrrrrrrrr lol.. Also went to fill the car up with no number plates on, the attendant came out and asked me to pre-pay, pretty good fun.
