Thanks for your misplaced vote of confidence Craig, however, my spare time is going to be extremely limited until the end of April (moving house in 3 weeks and have a rally car which needs a ton of work done before a rally on the 22nd April).

Anytime after that is fine (JETGSR may even have his car going reliably by then - hopefully).

But what do people want?
Just a gentle cruise (boring) with a bite to eat to somewhere scenic or otherwise?
A fun day with some good "fanging" roads and a bite to eat?
How many partners/ friends would be tagging along (either in your car or in their own car)?
Approx total kms for the cruise (300 km would be easy to do if you're up for it)?
Nice smooth roads or a bit of dirt thrown in?

EG. Sunday 9th April - Clifton Rally Sprint is on. There are some great back roads between Ipswich and Clifton (both tight & twisty and long and wide, no dirt, all black stuff). A few of my rally associates will be competing in this event. Could cruise out, watch some action and grab a bite to eat while there (there is catering at the event) and then cruise back via Mt Glorious.

Please put forward any ideas.

I'm liking that idea, I don't think i'll be takin the misses?

6 mths pregs and a bit of a hand brake. (not much fun)

also too much weight!!!

I love the back side of Mt glorious (going up) I like my roads like my women tight!

sound like a plan! I GUESS

That is if the car ever gets to stay together for more than 2 days! :?

JETGSR

If you would like any help with your car rob let me know!
(I have a TIG and panbrake if you need one)(AC & DC)

It's used to fold sheet (alloy,zinc, ss,metal?)

like make a shield or bracket or the likes.

:? not sure if you are taking the piss out off me?

it is a manual one so I'm limited to 3mm on short bends and 1mm on long bends (up to 900mm) 1mm is the thickness of sheet material, also S/Steel you are generally limited to 1mm because it is much harder
(tough not difficult)

aaahh, manual brake press. No i wasn't taking the piss out of you (I prefer to get to know people a little bit better before I start doing that :D )

Thanks for the offer of help, you may end up regretting it. :D

Sounds like a plan.....there is also mini jamboree on at willowbank on march 25 if anyone is interested. Hope adrian can sort his vr4 out by then with the monster turbo for some race action.

talkin to adrian last night, he is probly gonna race whether the turbo is on it or not, he thinks its got more than 14.00 in it

on another note, my car will be back on the road by midweek, just bolted up the intake mani, engine will go back into the bay tonight, oo im excited, except i don't have any fuel :(

Good to hear that its all coming back together for you Craig. In all the excitement, don't forget to prime that motor (ie, turn it over without spark to get oil pressure up) before you fire it back to life.

yeah bring on mini jamboree.
its true i am never going to get the turbo on my car.

come on omega payment (former employer).
when that comes through turbo is on.
