was just wondering how hard it is to get insurance on a evo 5/6/7

and how much you guys pay if u dont mind me asking?

also how would you insure a rebuild?

as an evo or a lancer?

really cbf'd going with just cars had a few run in with them where i lost my temper over the phone when trying to insure the rvr for my parents.

so i dont want to be insure by idiots there.

anyone got any insurance connections?

yeh we ended insuring with shannons with the rvr and they were cheaper.

supposedly you get a good discount with them if your car club is part of them...

any plans on team4g getting affiliated with shannons?

im fairly sure the mitsubishi gsr/evo club in adelaide are still affiliated with Shannons. Shannons gave me the best quote on my gsr after mentioning im with the gsr/evo club.

Membership is just $30, plus you get cams affiliation (you are recquired to be a member of a cams affiliated club if you wanna get a 2S or 2NS licence).

yeh you gotta be a member, but these days it only costs $30.

I wasnt actually told of the exact discount for being a member of a cams affiliated car club was, however at the time i was only 21, so all the quotes i was getting were over 2k, but shannons insured me for $1400. Think they also upped my rating too.
