I've got a rattle coming from the passenger side rear tyre area, it happens when I'm cruising along and goes away when I accelerate. Also got a weird squealing noise coming from the same area when I slowly release the clutch. Anyone know what it could be? I just changed the sway bar links too but the sound was happening before I changed them.

Rattle could be one of the bolts in the bracket that holds the rear bar on (under the car on both sides of the rear bar). I know you had your car resprayed recently so it could be that or the plastic inner lining in the rear bar behind the wheel.
Might also be worn rear brake pads or a brake problem with the caliper moving around a bit too much.
It could also be your neighbours cat?
Too hard to tell man, get up under the back end, jack it up and wobble everything around to search for something loose

Checked the bolts for the rear bar they're all good, inner wheel guard doesn't exist so can't be that. I'm thinking it's a diff bush or something. Haha I wish it was the neighbors cat, that thing shits me!

Hahaha might try it....If you see me on the news busted by the RSPCA i'll give the forum a shout out.

See if the stone shield behind the rear brake rotor is loose?
Also check the hand brake cable and where it mounts to the bracket?
ABS wire and bracket jumping around?
I bet its a homeless cat shaking a tin can about asking for some spare change

also check that your strut top bolt isn't loose i just changed my struts and one of mine worked loose. gona get a nylock for it and think about switching to coils

and while on the topic of suspension could i change the strut tops on these to suit my coupe?
