is there any difference in having a remote oil reloc kit that has both in and out, or just having an out like urs from the block and then going back to the oil pump? like u get better oil pressure or anything or not really... sorry for all the q's just want to make sure before for my set up

Just had it come out at the pump because it mean the bit that threads into the block only needed to be simple. Would have to be much more complicated if it was in/out at that point.

bringing an old thread up again, is it mandatory to run an oil thermostat of some sort if you're plumbing an oil cooler in with your oil filter relocation kit? or is it more just a good idea but not necessary?

Very good idea on a street car, not needed so much on a circuit/ rally car.
