Poor bastard. Stabbed through the heart by a sting ray. Would have been quite a unique feeling............... :(

Was no crocodile dundee, but he was a true export. America loved him.

He will be missed

yeah sad day here in IRAQ to, thats about the only thing that has been talked about amongst the soldiers over here, its hard to believe.

It was only the other day i was looking at modifying a picture of him for my Part's shirt.. I might still do it..

I think he has well an truly deserved a state funeral at least.. the americans over here on base still cant believe it that it happened..

"If you play with fire you will get burnt.."

Sad but true..

 I'm apalled that there are people out there making jokes of the tragic and freak accident that took his life. The man was inspirational to both adults and children - not many people have that claim to fame. The guy is loved by millions around the world and ffs he has a couple of kids and a grieving wife left behind so let's show some respect [sorry, my boys and I loved his work and the 5 yr old really looked up to him and mimiced his antics]

It was a sad day indeed...

But honestly, of course there are going to be jokes about it.

There were thousands of jokes about Lady Diana and lets face it, she did a lot more then Steve Erwin.

There were jokes about Bali, and every tragedy in this world. It is just a fact of life, and humour actually helps some people deal with it.

So be prepared for people to come up with a lot more things to joke about.

i wonder who ther going to get to do the vidies now for the airports about bring stuff in to the country.?
But i loved the guy he was out ther ( i raise a glass for you bud)

For gods sake, its not the end of the world!!

If anyone would appreciate someone making a joke about their death, it would certainly be Steve Irwin.

"My number one rule is to keep that camera rolling. Even if it's shaky or slightly out of focus, I don't give a rip. Even if a big old alligator is chewing me up I want to go down and go, 'Crikey!' just before I die. That would be the ultimate for me."

Judging by the fact the tape was handed over to the police for review I'd say that his 'number one rule' was kept true.
