Hey guys, so my roof sadly is starting to rust and I would like to get it repaired properly. I am however running into an issue where information is misleading online. I need to know the correct part number for a roof lid with a sun roof.

the two part numbers I am finding are,

MB835969

and

MB835970

obviously one will be for sun roof cars and the other for non sun roof cars but I cant seem to figure out which is which.

thanks for your help guys appreciate it!

Your in for a shock when you see the prices.
Plus..half the parts you need for a sunroof car repair are no longer available.
My advice..ditch the sunroof idea and put a normal roof on it.

Which parts are you referring to that are discontinued as I have found the roof skins already both hard top and sun roof, and ribs/rails for both as well also my sun roof is fully functional as is. I'm not saying your wrong I am genuinely curious as to which parts I need that I won't be able to get.

Thanks found the skin for 800 cad, the other parts are not too expensive but total bill will be a little more then id like, but it will look great in the end im sure!

That part number is figuratively the roof skin only. Plenty of other parts for the sunroof (which it sounds like you already have) as per image

No protons are not a thing in canada, sad because I'd love to own a proton jumbuck, I'd also wouldn't mind a Mitsubishi Lancer wagon both are really cool vehicles we never got.

Carbon fibre roof
If I cannot get all the things I need to fix my sunroof lid as I want to restore the car as much as possible, this will be my next option.

The jumbuck is more useful than cool. Well mine is anyway
Idk I love the look of the Jumbuck as soon as you put the evo front end on it, we dont have any utes here and I have always liked utes. I would ultimately love to get a Ford Falcon ute with the XR6T as a daily driver, it would turn a lot of heads here haha.
