RVR Hsg Dyno result

just downloaded the software and tested it on my friends camry v6. it says it got 43HP lol but there was shortage of road and wheel spun on 1st gear too much.

Will try on my HSG later sometime.

na, $15 from memory.

howc, do a calibration, make sure you use a really sturdy window mount and do a full run.

the skid pan is pretty fun, trying to see how many G's i can pull round the corners.

I've downloaded the software and did couple of test runs tonight.
I'm very impressed with it.
BTW: If the reading is right with even 10% less in reality then I'm more then happy

With car settings:
Weight: 1600kg
Drive train loose:15%

Result:
Max Speed: 107.3 km/h
Max Acceleration: 0.75 G's
Peak Horsepower: 212 kW

thats pretty sweeeeeeeet. i had mine set at zero for driveline loss so you get wheel power instead of it doing another calculation for engine power.

but yea, when properly setup and configured it can be fairly accurate (i.e. +5/-5%)

I didn't dyno it since I've done some tune up.I'll let you know when I dyno it.

Just for some fun we tested my car with the "dynolicious" program on craigs iphone.
The car was sitting on 10-11psi then after 6 500 rpm it would creep up and sit at 17psi pretty stable. It spat out 188kw atw peak.
That would be occurring around 6.5k -7k anyway so that would be on 17psi.

We were trying to do quarter miles runs but the stutter box would set it off with the vibration, and the time would start a second or two early so meant nothing.

Dunno how accurate it is but i was some fun.

Just used dynolicious on my HSG.

Settings:

Weight 1600kg
Trans loss: 0%

Results:

Max speed: 140.8km/hr
Max accel: 0.60G
Peak HP: 203HP or 151KW (ATW)

Running at 11PSI due to boost leak and tuning done by VR401.

Car running lean as well. Will re-dyno again when i fix the boost leak and upgrade fuel pump.

EDIT: i did 2 run and both run gave me the same result.

ok, back on the dyno now with new manifold and fixed up the afr's a bit and it ran 184awkw...gah! i need more powah! haha
